im new to this forum after been suggested it by a family member!

i have a 267ltr EA reef pro been keeping fish for years but only reef for probably 3yrs

will soon be moving to a new house where I’d like to build a 72”x24”x24” reef tank but this probably won’t be for another year or so.

Nice one@JamieJ4249 There’s some well experienced guys on here that will be able to give you loads of advice.

Create yourself a thread on your current tank and another for the one you’re planning (do it in the ‘member tanks and threads’ folder) - that way, you will have a track record of everything in one place (including somewhere to store pictures). Threads have helped me out no end - you get advice from others and you can look back over a period of time. This often enables you to identify what you changed in the past that might have had a positive or negative impact on your reef.

As you know, my build has been a year in the making. To be honest, I’m glad it has. I’ve changed an tweaked plans so much since my original planning.

Nothing happens fast in a reef tank - the same goes for the planning
