The Reef-Face Team

Hi, name is Mark and new to the Reef world, ordered the Red Sea 170 Deluxe which is due to be delivered middle of next week, also had the Magnus C5 curve Skimmer, SW-4 & SW-8 wavemakers, Dcs-4000 pump, and a heater, very nervous about making sure I set it up correctly. I hear reactors mentiond a lot is this something I need to also get or add at a later date?

looking forward to reading through the post learning and seeing some reefs for ideas

Take everything as slowly as possible mate. There's lots of experienced guys here who will help you along but ALL will tell you the best bit of advice you can give any aspiring reefer...

Nothing good happens quick in a reef tank!

As for the reactor, you won't need one yet. Some people are lucky enough to never need them. Keep popping on here and asking questions - we're here to help and remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question - we've all been there I assure you!
