High reef temperatures

With temps hitting 28c today I decide to hook up the chiller. Prior to plumbing it in the temps were 27.3. Now back down to 25.5 within an hour or so. Hate the noisy fan but it shouldn't be on for too long knowing British sunshine doesn't last for more than a few days!

Hows everyone else managing?

My temp crept up to 27.4 but my tank is totally in-closed with only one temp vent, but I just set-up an normal fan and removed an panel of the bottom of stand

mine had crept to 28c so rigged up my stc 1000 controller ( had it for over 12 months and never set it up ) and added a 6" clip on fan and the temp is steady at 25.8C now

I was at 81.6 (27.7 Celsius) according to apex and above 27 for a few days and all ok. I turned up powerheads overnight to keep orp high as I saw a slight drop overnight in oxygen levels compared to normal.
