IMO yes but I have 2 x mp40, 3 x radion and an m1 vectors too along with another radion on a different tank.

If you just wanna set up a programme and that is it then maybe I would think twice but if have more than 1 ecotech product then yes

@Fishpalace
So if I was just going for 2 x mp40 without those lights it's not really worth having is that what you're saying.

If you want to set them say at 50% on lagoon then you don't need a reeflink.

If you want to programme them I am not sure how you do it without reeflink though. With radions you can use a USB wire to connect to a pic and you are away.

I was talked out of the reef link for my system and haven't looked at it since. That said I only have one 40 on my system at the moment and nothing else is compatible. I would recommend it if you have more than one unit and the extra coin. That said, lots of more important things to budget first IMO

I'd buy one if I didn't have my GHL. The great thing about them is you can set different schedules throughout the day. Say you want reef crest for the most part but want to run nutrient control between midnight and 2am you can set it to do that. The Reef link gives you more flexibility that just the bog standard pump and second hand ones go for around £50 so well worth it imo.

Can you use a USB and plug into your computer to build a schedule of different flow rates and programmes? Giving the tank variety appears to be beneficial and more natural.

Just a thought
