Hippo grunting

Recently my hippo tang has been grunting more frequently. Dunno why. I have changed nothing in the tank to kick things off, nothing added, nothing moved and nothing taken away yet it persists in dashing from one side of the tank then to the other repetitively for 5 or so minutes. When it reaches the other end it will grunt...back and forth, back and forth. This doesn't bother me but it freaks some of the shy fish out big time.

Any ideas what it could be? Guesses welcome as this has me foxed!
