LOL... Well it is something I have lived by..

 

God knows there are times when you are frustrated and hacked off with it all.

 

But then you need to realise its a living thing.

Buy a tank with a built in weir or build one yourself. Don't buy a tropical tank and think the Hob overflow boxes will be silent and won't overflow.

 

Take pictures or you tank, you will be amazed how much it changed over the year.

+1 in the vinegar and newspaper I use white mixed with RO just spray wipe give it 5 to dry them buff with newspaper. Although for the past few months I've been using my daughters old muzzies instead if the newspaper they do the job just as well and it's cleaner on your paws

Remember if your taking fish or corals out your tank your water level will drop so it's always good to check or have some water to top up at hand
