  1. Just To Say High!

Reply to a couple of messages, because someone said they pruned their sps as it grew so fast and threw the bits away! That is abhorrent to me with the state of natural reefs and just spreading the wealth to others is easy. Please delete my account, I came on to stop emails filling my email inbox.
  2. New E5 Lighting

My lfs has been struggling to get hold of enough of the blue pops to keep up with demand. If you like blue light they are very blue, too blue for my taste. As above, they are an led "tube" that fits in place of a T5 and the only benefit I can see is lower running costs in the long term. That is why I went with an 8 tube hybrid as the led is a supplement to the T5s and gives added colour and a 12 hour cycle. Just my opinion.
  3. Fish Recommendations For 3 Foot Tank

    Jewel blenny?
  4. Lighting Schedule

No dude but you can set the on / off times for each pair.
  5. Coloured Up

I have some white montis since the light swap!
  6. Lighting Schedule

    Pac sun hybrid, 1 x 75 watt led and 8 x 24 watt T5s. Only been running properly for about a month so still playing! Leds 67% running the 12 hour Bali program, start 08-00. T5s are in 4 pairs out to in, 1 = outside pair. 1 = 9-30 until 18-30 2 = 10-30 until 18-00 3 = 11-30 until 17-30 4 = 12-30 until 16-30
  7. Tmc Strikes Again !

    Fingers crossed Marty. :)
  8. Tmc Strikes Again !

I see people buying tmc stuff in my lfs, always makes me edgy. I also will never own anything mechanical with their name on again, made this decision years ago, hope the tank pulls through for you.
  9. Hair Algae A Pain

I would try to raise it but as you say, see how the sand reacts.
  10. Hair Algae A Pain

I would guess that the flow in that spot is lower.
  11. Nice, enjoy the planning and set up. :)
  12. As above I run it off as I need it but also store 10 litres just in case!
  13. My display end is 300 litres, I run an Eheim 5000 flat out, possibly the next return pump up although I have never tried those returns ... yet! :)
  14. Dray's Redsea Reefer 350.

    ^^^ what he said! :)
