  1. Seemed to get to this late! We would be interested dependant on date etc. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Its whether you have your heart set on them hosting a nem. I would look instead at some sort of LPS (normally of the euphillia variety) or even something like a toadstool for them to host. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. Yes it is cleartides. Glad we can be of help :) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. Also have a look at cheato reactors (we have one on the 2ft ish cube so you can have a look at) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Anything that kills internal worm parasites will kill flatworm if im honest. We had internal worms in our old tank and although we decided not to treat in the end, we did look at the interceptor method. This looks at dosing a dog dewormer in tank- this method is well documented for Acro Eating Flatworms/ red bugs. We also tried to look into discus dewormers to dose in a qt system however couldnt find any locally to have a look at active ingredients. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Last time I did refrugrium it was 2 x 13 watt eco bulbs! Having said that my new reactor uses sms 50:50 leds not 100% sure what wattage or colour but be fun to find out
  7. Ours did the same, scared the pants off Liz when she spotted it. But fortunately they are good guys! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. We had one in the old tank and it was spongevore they get pretty large, seahare sort of size, I went years without seeing it and then one day it turned up! :) didn't seem to do me any harm etc
  9. I didn't get any confirmation ether if that's any benefit other then an order confirmation number on the day + paypal coverage but im not expecting any issue.
  10. Having a re look at my order information I should hopefully have mine by Thursday at the latest if they keep to their 9 day estimation
  11. I have a second hand ghl which is rock steady, infact I think theres a ghl controller+ doser in the for sale threads here which is an absolute bargain. The problem with the cheaper dosers is some are prone to slipping / inaccurate dosing and is worth factoring this in.
  12. Ok where's the in depth tutorial? I'd love something like that
  13. Ok so I've only jumped into this thread at the end so apologies if it's already been covered but what is your lighting? If your lighting isn't bright enough you will never get colourful sps In low light conditions sps (and corals in general) increase zooxanthae levels within the skins, this is what turns an sps brown, By blasting sps with more light they can off load as much zooxanthae and reveal the coloured pigments that sit underneath the cells that contain the zooxanthae. I hope that makes sense.
  14. As above and / or you can make a stock solution (and remember how much you add etc (mines 100 grams in 1 ltr) test your current value then dose a small amount say 2-5ml , leave it an hour and re test, this should give you a rough idea how much per ml raises your tank. Then test daily and adjust as required.
  15. Mounted another 3 frags from my frag rack onto the rocks :)
