    If nothing is suffering, why chase it. Sps and lps don't mind nutrients...stability is what they need

  9. no probs, i am pretty sure its going to be a late day for me tomorrow, although after 7 is fine too,,as long as i am back. :sweet: ..are you local to Dave ? i will see what i can sort for you :sweet:...i don't have much in the way of sps frags ( usually have loads),,,tank has been an sps hater for last 8 weeks,,and has been killing off my sps for me.
  10. mmmh its hard to tell really what else it may go for, i would say all lps are under threat, sps too for their polyps... i think once they start,,,its like a tube of pringles,,,sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate i had a coral beauty for 6 years,,and never touched anything,,then ate my lovely new yellow acro in under an hour :sweet:.. he was rehomed to a softie tank i just did a quick check,,and the majestic, is one of the least likely to go for sps, so at least that is a boost

    glad you didnt tell him to buffer up to 9 then :roll: dkh most peeps aim for 8-10,,,mine runs around 7.6 ph ideal is 8.3,,,but 7.8 and stable is fine, and a lot of guys running MM, seem to have a lower but stable ph

    ph of 7.8 is ok, as long as its stable especially if you are still on MM i would just concentrate on removing your phosphates, and stop adding buffers
